Finding it hard to get to the gym four times a week? Incorporate these easy daily fitness tips into your routine and feel the difference

If you're struggling to start or even continue a new fitness regime, you're not alone. It can be hard to squeeze in fitness while trying to manage everything else in your life.
Try adding some of these simple fitness tips into your routine and see the difference for yourself.
1. Get off the bus or train one stop before yours. Getting in that extra 10-15 minute walk every day adds up to between 50 and 75 minutes walking per week.
2. Wear your workout clothes to bed. It might sound crazy, but wearing your gym gear or running clothes to bed will mean you have no excuse but to jump out of bed and go workout. Trust us - it works.
3. Exercise in front of the TV. Move from your normal spot on the couch to the floor while watching TV and do some resistance training. Try ab crunches, ab bicycles, leg raises, box push ups, dips on the edge of the sofa, yoga poses and some gentle stretching. You'd be surprised how easy it is to exercise while watching your favourite TV shows.
4. Schedule exercise. In the same way you organise your social or work calendar, organise your exercise calendar. You wouldn't miss a meeting or a coffee with friends, so schedule your workouts in the same way and don't miss them.
5. Exercise more intensely for less time. Your workout doesn't have to last an hour, or even half an hour. Twenty minutes of exercise at a high intensity is better for burning fat, but you should be out of breath, feeling the burn and sweating!
6. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Ensure you get a good, solid six to eight hours sleep each night. The more you sleep, the more energised, positive and motivated for your workouts you will feel.
